Mining Empire Ores
Mining Empire ore guide for Roblox: yellow cubes, white veins, Oil Rock, Elusivium, April 2026 extras, and what to mine first.
Ores are the reason you swing. Mining Empire does not publish a public spreadsheet, so this wiki sticks to what official media, badges, and the April 2026 patch actually prove. You will see gray stone, bright yellow cubes, white floor slabs, bronze faces, Oil Rock in chunk data, eight extra ores from that patch, and the trophy block Elusivium at 1 in 100,000. Layer context lives on the layers page. Hunting technique lives in how to find Elusivium.
What we can name without guessing
| Ore | How we know | Where it shows up | Why you care |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yellow cubic ore | Official cavern thumbnail | Starter and mid stone | Early cash and gem drip |
| White slab ore | Same thumbnail, floor piece | Opening tunnels | Easy first upgrade money |
| Bronze / gold face | Thumbnail wall | Starter cavern sides | Do not walk past it on wood |
| Oil Rock | Chunk name used by mine remotes | Deeper chunks | A named mid/late target |
| Eight April ores | 17 April 2026 patch notes | The three new layers | Reason to leave spawn stone |
| Elusivium | Badge: 1 in 100,000 blocks | Deep / cosmic floors | Rarest tracked ore, flex badge |
| Galaxy stone | Official late-game screenshot | Cosmic layer | Jackhammer country |
We will not invent a fake copper-iron-diamond ladder just to look like a bigger wiki. When the developer names the eight extras in a public list, they will land in this table. Until then, play the colors: if it is not gray, it is trying to pay you. If your tool bounces, you are under-geared for that color, not unlucky.
Value is a layer problem
A yellow cube on the spawn floor is lunch money. A rare face on a new April layer is ticket progress. Gems — the thing you actually spend in the rebirth shop — dropped in smaller piles after the ticket became 500. That means you cannot live on starter colors forever. Push down when the current rainbow starts feeling cheap. The gems guide explains the same idea from the currency side.
Clans change ore math. A 30% online bonus on a good floor beats a 0% bonus on a “rare” floor you cannot break. Bring people, then bring a better head, then sit with auto mine. Ore lists that ignore those multipliers are just pretty tables.
Oil Rock and the eight extras
Oil Rock is one of the few mid names we can print because the mine chunk itself uses it. If you are writing or using an auto farm, you have already seen that string. For legitimate play, treat Oil Rock as a reason to keep dropping: the world is not only yellow cubes. The eight ores from April are the rest of that argument. They shipped with three layers and three tools, a matched trio. Your job is to meet them with the matching tool step.
Elusivium is a statistic, not a colorblind test
The badge text is blunt: you found the rarest ore in the game, 1 in 100,000 blocks. A few hundred players have the badge. That is not because they have a secret texture pack. They sat on a deep floor with a late tool long enough for the roll to hit. Read the dedicated Elusivium page before you waste a weekend on spawn stone. The mystery-block badge art (question marks on a white cube) is a tease, not a map.
If you only came here to ask “what is the best ore,” the answer is the one your current head can break on the deepest floor you can stand. Everything else is a poster. Pair this guide with the review if you want the design intent: Mining Empire is a layer lottery, not a crafting tree.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions miners actually type.
What is the rarest ore in Mining Empire?
Elusivium. The badge says 1 in 100,000 blocks. Hunt it deep, not on the spawn floor.
What ores are in the starter cavern?
Official shots show yellow cubes, white floor ore, and bronze/gold faces in gray stone, mined with a cyan-headed or wooden pickaxe.
Did April 2026 add new ores?
Yes. The patch added eight more ores along with three layers and three tools.
